The Edge Pro supports network connectivity through mobile networks if no Ethernet connection is available on site. The Edge Pro supports Verizon and AT&T SIM cards.
The SIM card must already be installed in the camera and operational in order to configure the mobile network settings and view the connections details. To install the SIM card, please follow these instructions.
Navigate to the "Mobile Network" menu on the left dashboard. Click on the "Management" page where the mobile connection, LTE module details, mobile service details, and GPS information are listed.
Ensure that the Status shows "Ready" and that the "Enable" slider is on.
If your mobile carrier requires a PIN, you may modify it by clicking the "Modify" button.
Enter the "APN," "Username," "Password," and select the "Auth. Mode," as provided by your mobile carrier.
Click "Save All" at the bottom of the screen.
Navigate to the "Mobile Network - Basic" menu on the left dashboard where the Lan Settings are listed.
Select the "Type" from the drop-down menu.
Enter the "IP Address," "Subnet Mask," Primary DNS," Secondary DNS," and "Gateway" address, as provided by your mobile carrier.
Click "Save."
Navigate to the "Mobile Network - Embedded Firewall" menu on the left dashboard where the Firewall List is displayed. Two camera ports are already blocked by default.
If your mobile carrier required embedded firewalls, click the Add button and enter the "Remote IP Address," "Remote Port," "Camera Port," and "Type."
Click "Save."
