# Vehicle Insite Overview

Rekor Discover's Vehicle Insite application utilizes real-time video to provide actionable vehicle intelligence such as vehicle site metrics, vehicle characteristics, and Electric Vehicle (EV) statistics. Utilizing state-of-the-art AI and high-definition camera systems, Vehicle Insite delivers real-time traffic data to deepen your understanding of the vehicles within a geography, enabling better planning, enriched experiences and potential targeted marketing initiatives.

With visit metrics, you can analyze traffic flow patterns to prepare and plan for volume fluctuations over days, weeks, months or even years. With vehicle characteristics, you can understand vehicle demographics to leverage in the creation of targeted marketing campaigns that engage and attract the ideal customer segments. With EV statistics, you can assess EV volume to support data-driven initiatives and revenue opportunities such as EV charging stations deployment.

Vehicle Insite also provides green house gas (GHG) estimates and reporting based on vehicle volumes and average vehicle emissions to help you understand the emissions impacts vehicles are having in your geography.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.rekor.ai/rekor-discover-r/vehicle-insite/vehicle-insite-overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
