Installation Checklist
Before proceeding to the Configuration section of the Rekor Edge Pro setup guide, it is essential to ensure that your system is primed for successful fine-tuning.
Please take a moment to answer the following questions with a resounding "yes" to confirm that your installation is ready for the next steps:
Is the camera securely installed on the mount or wall?
Does the ambient temperature meet the device specifications?
Have insulation and waterproofing measures been taken to protect cables installed in humid environments and the drip loops are in the correct positions?
Can the camera power on normally?
Can you access the camera web portal using the IP address you configured?
Can you view the live video stream in the Edge Pro Dashboard and is the image clear?
In night vision mode, can the live video stream be viewed clearly?
If you can affirmatively answer each of these questions, you are well-prepared to proceed with the configuration of your Rekor Edge Pro camera system.
