# Overview

Now that your Rekor Edge Pro is connected, we recommend proceeding to your install location to begin mounting your unit.

If you’d like to configure your ALPR settings ahead of mounting, or you’ve already mounted your camera, you can advance to the [Configuring section](/edge-pro/configuring/overview.md).

Lighting and weather conditions may require ALPR settings to be altered once moved to the install location.

With that being said, let's identify your deployment location, attach the mounting bracket, affix it to the installation surface, and connect the wiring.
